Model 1 Junior

The Model 1 Junior is the same guitar as the Model 1 but with a single pickup. To keep with the ‘student’ tradition of the ‘junior’, this model features more limited options with regards to pickups and cosmetic options, but it does come at a more affordable price point. Juniors are offered in the same range of RAL Design colours, but only in my signature thin skin ‘open pore satin’ finish.
Tech specs:
Handmade from start to finish by Elliott Trent.
Obeche body.
Choice of 24”, 24.75”, 25.5” and 27” scale length.
Choice of 7.25”, 9.5” and 12” fingerboard radius.
Full “C” carve maple neck, reminiscent of early Fender necks, 21mm at 1st fret to 23mm at 12th.
Neck attached to body with 4 bolts into steel threaded inserts.
Indian Rosewood Fretboard.
Dot inlays.
21 Jescar 47095 Frets.
Choice of a custom made hardtail bridge or custom made bridge and vibrato.
Locally made custom neck and control plate in brushed stainless steel.
43mm TUSQ nut (can do narrower on request).
Kluson Deluxe style tuners.
CTS 500k pots.
Treble bleed as standard.
Fully water-based “thin skin” finish.
Soft case.
